Make Your Agent

Be Irreducibly Human

The sprint is on and the gun has gone off. Go. Run.

Where we are in time.

You are intelligent. You would not be here if you weren't. Your intelligence has always been your sword. Your reasoning. Your judgment. Your ability to find the angle nobody else sees.

But intelligence has been commoditised. The ability to research, analyse, draft, cross-reference, spot patterns, and generate strategic options — the intellectual core — is now available at near-zero cost, at unlimited scale, around the clock.

Your sword has changed shape. Now you need to learn how to wield a very new-looking sword.

The 0.001% who have built their own agent are holding a hybrid weapon that has never existed before — a single blade that fuses the mighty broadsword with the katana.

The devastation of the broadsword: intelligence deployed at a scale no single human can match. The precision of the katana: every cut intentional, nothing wasted, aimed with mastery at exactly the right parts of life. Not two swords. One hybrid.

The other 99.999%? Their swords shrank to butter knives. And most of them haven't noticed yet.

There is no sequence.

There is a centre.
And a direction.

Some people start with the thinking and build outward. Some start with the build and spiral back toward meaning. Others never need the centre at all. The entry point is wherever you are.

The Thinking

Start here if you need to understand why you should be making an agent.

Two books. One names the problem with enough precision that you can finally stop pretending it isn't there. The other tells you what to build so you never have to wait for permission to become something the system cannot capture.

The Weight of the Pail

The system didn't break you. It captured you. It redirected your becoming into performance so completely that the counterfeit became indistinguishable from the life it replaced. This book names that architecture from the inside — and finds in that impossible position the conditions for a different kind of seeing.

The 7 MetaSkills of Highly Effective Humans

What Covey's 7 Habits did for the 20th century, this does for the age of AI. Seven capacities that compound with human presence — that deepen as the machines accelerate and get more valuable precisely because they cannot be automated, approximated, or replaced. Seven skills. One destination: Be Irreducibly Human.

The Build

Start here if you want an agent now.

Agent Maestro Maker. You arrive without an agent. You leave with one deployed and running. The understanding comes from doing — not from reading about doing.

Maker: Personal — your life, your agent
Maker: Entrepreneur — your business runs autonomously
Maker: Maestro — multi-agent orchestration at scale

The Orbit

Start here if you're already building and want to go further.

You don't need the books to get here. The build is enough. What comes after the build is where the real compounding starts.

Maestro Club

The ongoing membership community for active Makers. The machines change fast — your edge depends on staying in the room with people who are building at the frontier. Club is where Makers share what's working, pressure-test what isn't, and stay sharp as the landscape shifts beneath them. Recurring membership. No ceiling on how far you go.

Agent Maestro Talent

A placement arm — not a job board. Businesses that are ready to move need trained Makers who can build, deploy, and run agent teams from day one. Talent sources exclusively from the Maestro Club. If you've completed the Maker build and you're ready to be placed, this is where that happens. Chief Agent Officers. Agent Architects. Operators who've already built the thing in the real world.

Here's the maths.

The gap is
exponential.

It's not a metaphor. It's arithmetic. Two identical professionals open a business on the same day. Same skill. Same market. Same clients.

Professional A has no agent team. They improve by 2% per year — linear growth. Professional B deploys an agent team. Their system improves by 10% per month in Year 1. But agent systems don't stay static — they accumulate training data, add integrations, expand from one agent to an orchestrated team, and improve with every new AI model released. The rate itself compounds.

Professional A Professional B Gap
2% / year linear accelerating system
Year 1
10%/mo avg
1.02× 3.14× 208%
Year 2
15%/mo avg
1.04× 16.8× 1,515%
Year 3
20%/mo avg
1.06× 150× The Year 3 system bears no resemblance to what was deployed in Year 1.

These figures assume the system improves — because it will. Training data accumulates. Integrations expand. New agents deploy. New AI models release quarterly. 10%/month in Year 1 is conservative.

That's what exponential means. It doesn't mean fast. It means the gap doesn't just grow — the speed at which it grows also grows. Early on it looks manageable. By the time it looks alarming, it's already insurmountable.

There are two kinds of people now.

Linear and exponential.

The linear human is the only intelligence in their life. Their growth adds. Slowly. With a ceiling.

The exponential human conducts an orchestra. Their life runs autonomously. Their systems compound. There is no ceiling.

The haves have agentic teams. The have-nots are everyone else. The gap grows exponentially.

Right now, fewer than 0.001% of people have their own agent conductor.

The entry point is wherever you are. The direction is yours to choose.

The Horizon

Fill your days with passion, purpose and connection.

Once you have an agent or agent team mobilized and optimized, you will recover more than time. You will recover your humanity. How you express your humanity, is up to you. The video is mine: time in nature, dressed in sequins!

This is the horizon. It is real. It will define itself.

About Lauren

I ran the operating system from the inside — until I heard it humming in my own voice.

I left a career in law and spent two decades building businesses, raising four children and running the operating system from inside what I experienced as freedom — until I heard it humming in my own voice.

I now lead a group of companies whose work sits at the intersection of technology, education, human development, philosophy, and the possibilities of human flourishing in an age when machines are getting better at everything measurable.

I live in Queensland, Australia, where the kookaburras are loud, the school portal sends too many notifications, and my laptop still tracks my daily word count. I typed these words on it.
